Aston's Eyot - original linocut print

£75.00

Not far from the hustle and bustle of central Oxford is Aston's Eyot, a nature reserve bounded by the Rivers Thames and Cherwell and the Shire Lake Ditch stream. Much beloved by East Oxford residents, the island was originally a water meadow and is home to secretive animals such as deer, badgers, foxes, newts, grass snakes and slow worms, and an incredible variety of bird and plant life.

The Eyot is a truly magical place, and its variety of habitats mean you never know just what wildlife you might bump into on your visit.

This original linocut print, inspired by my own sightings of deer on the Eyot, measures 30 x 30cm, and is printed on Zerkall 145gsm traditional printmaking paper, using Caligo oil-based inks. The edition is limited to 50 prints.

The framed version is supplied in a thin oak frame, with a conservation grade off-white mount.

SHIPPING & DISPATCH TIMES: All orders are sent Royal Mail second class unless Local Collection is selected - please let me know if you are in a hurry for something and would like to upgrade to faster delivery. Dispatch times are 5-7 business days from receipt of order, again do let me know if you need an item quickly and I'll do my best to help.
